“The large number of participants sends a clear message of the dedication and interest from West Virginia’s teachers regarding reading research,” said Beverly Kingery, coordinator for Reading and Language Arts. “Participants will learn more about the use of reading content and strategies that are supported by a convergence of research evidence.”
The three-day symposium will feature several national reading experts. Other highlights include a professional book exchange among participants and an educational vendor fair.
