These schools are recipients of the WV READS and WV MATH grant award programs funded by the West Virginia Legislature. The schools will use the funds to develop summer reading and math programs for at-risk students in grades K-4.
The winners will be announced at 12:30 p.m., Monday, April 15, at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Charleston. Thirty-eight schools in the following counties will be receiving funding:
Boone, Cabell, Fayette, Gilmer, Kanawha, Lincoln, Marion, Mason, Mercer, Monongalia, Monroe, Nicholas, Ohio, Pleasants, Raleigh, Wayne, Webster, Wetzel, and Wood.
