The ASVAB is a multiple-aptitude battery that measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success. It is administered annually to more than one million applicants, high school and post-secondary students.
March 2 Success is a FREE website providing Educators, Parents, Mentors, and Students access to online study materials to help improve their scores on standardized tests such as state exit exams, college entrance exams, military entrance exam (ASVAB) and others. Our content includes self-paced study programs in Math, English and Science, with a focus of materials on grades 8-12. The High School Math and Verbal Skills course and College Readiness online course each start with a pre-assessment test, using the results to generate a custom learning path. The learning path includes interactive lessons, quizzes and additional practice tests. The High School Science Hub provides lessons and practice tests in Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

4-H National Headquarters at USDA has established formal partnerships with Army Child, Youth and School Services, Air Force Airman and Family Services and Navy Family Readiness to support positive youth development education for youth whose parents are serving in the military.
As military families move frequently and experience the difficulties surrounding lengthy and frequent deployments, 4-H provides predictable programming and a safe and nurturing environment for military kids.
Military families can get help from a professional tutor at any time. This service is FREE for active duty, National Guard and Reserve members in the Army, Marines, Navy or Air Force and their dependents. Tutors are online 24/7 and available to help in more than 16 subjects.
For all students as well as adults in the workplace, the College Foundation of West Virginia can help you with your career and college planning.
Career Direction 2 is a comprehensive career guidance program designed to help high school students:
Career Direction 2 can be tailored for 1 to 3 class periods. Students will be fully engaged as they work through a program that is all about them - their priorities, their personality, their interests, and their abilities! They will consider possible careers as related to their interests, find out how to research the careers further, examine the education and training required, and be asked to think about the costs for that education.
One module of the material focuses on job-getting skills such as effective resume and cover letter writing. There is also a section covering job interview strategies, with four short example videos the students evaluate. The workshop is motivating and can truly help students figure out their next steps.
Career Direction 2 is an appropriate fit in English, business, or in a Counselor's "Special Event." Certain sections can also be tailored to be presented during appropriate subjects, e.g. the "Drugs and Alcohol Education" section is a great fit with health and PE, but could also fit in science, chemistry, or biology. It is also an excellent topic in the few weeks prior to Prom or Homecoming.
