Qualifications
This position will be filled with the most qualified applicant pursuant to the criteria set forth in WV Code 18A-4-7a, based upon the following qualifications: 
–Applicant must have at least three years of successful teacher or administrative experience; PK-12 experience preferred 
–Hold, or be eligible for a valid West Virginia administrative certificate at the appropriate programmatic level (PK-12) 
–Completion of the WV Evaluation Leadership Institute preferred 
–Successful completion of interview process, as determined by the Superintendent and/or interview committee 
–Knowledge in elementary/middle curriculum preferred 
–Knowledgeable in County, State, and Federal policies 
–Demonstrates ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others and as a member of an educational team 
–Effective written and oral communication skills 
–Capable of performing the duties as outlined in WV Code 18A-2-9 

Salary
State minimum salary based on degree and experience plus equity (includes State Minimum Salary Increment Schedules)
