When
you were a child were you ever asked, "What do you want
to be when you grow up?" We were all pretty creative back
in our childhood days daydreaming about being Fireman, Nurses,
Policemen, Teachers, Doctors, Cowboys, Princesses, etc. As adults,
that same question is sometimes very difficult to answer. Many
people enter employment at a young age and expect to retire
from that company in 30 or 40 years. In today's job market,
this expectation is easier said than done. As a result
of this, many adults are having to think of a second, third,
or even fourth career to enter until they retire. |
To help you along
with this task, we have listed several informational websites that
you can search and explore for more detailed information on careers.
Just pick a link and begin exploring the careers that interest you.
Career Tests
Many websites offer general quizzes or
tests to help you determine what area or areas interest you for a
new career. Click on one or all of the links below to be taken to
free career testing sites (Most of the sites require that you key
in an email address so an email account will be necessary before you
can take an online quiz or test from these websites. If you do not
have an email account, you can create a free email account at
http://www.yahoo.com
or http://www.hotmail.com.
