Schools of Excellence

The West Virginia Department of Education now uses the WV School Accountability System as the criteria for Schools of Excellence.  Each public school throughout West Virginia receives a letter grade based on multiple measures of performance that together demonstrate how schools are achieving and growing.   Letter grades of A through F are used under this system.

Those schools earning a letter grade of A will now be named the Schools of Excellence.
