Students in elementary, middle and high school will compete in categories ranging from state and local government to economics to anthropology.
“The State Social Studies Fair offers students the chance to demonstrate their knowledge on various subjects on a much larger scale,” said Regina Scotchie, Social Studies Coordinator for the WVDE. “It’s so wonderful to see such creative and knowledgeable projects.”
Students are invited to compete at the State Social Studies Fair by winning their school and county’s events. The Social Studies Fair is an annual event displaying the intellectual and creative talents of West Virginia students in social studies.
