CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Three West Virginia Career and Technical Education Centers (CTE) have been named Premier CTE sites for the 2014-2015 school year.
Fayette Institute of Technology, Putnam County Career Center and Spring Valley High School of Wayne County were selected to receive the honor.
"I offer my congratulations to our premier CTE sites for their hard work in preparing students for successful careers through the real-world application of core academic skills," said Dr. Kathy D'Antoni, Associate State Superintendent of Schools with the West Virginia Department of Education, Division of Technical, Adult and Institutional Education Services. "The dedication of these sites to partnering classrooms with businesses, industries and communities positively impacts West Virginia students and the future workforce."
