The day is set aside for young people, educators and advocates for children from across the state to visit the Capitol and meet with the governor and legislators on various issues such as health care, welfare reform, and education.  

Students will have an opportunity to take part in a "Read Aloud" in the upper rotunda.  

Organizational displays and entertainment will be available throughout the day.
