Morgantown HS Wins State Science Bowl Competition

Morgantown High School captured the West Virginia Science Bowl championship in a competition held February 5 at the National Energy Technology Laboratory in Morgantown.  

George Washington High School of Charleston finished second, while Bridgeport High School took home third and fourth place went to Parkersburg High School. Fifteen schools from across the state competed in the event. This was the second consecutive year that Morgantown High School captured the state championship.  

Fifteen schools earned the right to participate in the state championship after preliminary competitions in the eight Regional Education Service Agency (RESA) areas. Over 40 schools participated in the preliminary competitions.
