The West Virginia Professional Growth Guides were developed in cooperation with state teachers and principals to provide educators with a resource which may assist in advancing the professional practices of classroom educators within the West Virginia Professional Teaching Standards.

Evaluation System Guidance Documents

The West Virginia Educator Evaluation System is a component of West Virginia’s Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) Flexibility Waiver, which was approved by the U.S. Department of Education in May 2013.
