ServSafe® Manager

ServSafe® Manager satisfies the "Person in Charge" requirement of Health Departments, and is good for five years nationwide. ServSafe® delivers high-quality training options for every manager. From the classroom to online, this is your food safety training and certification solution. The ServSafe® Food Protection Manager Certification is nationally recognized and accredited.

Who should be ServSafe® Manager Trained?

ServSafe® Manager is designed for specifically foodservice managers and supervisors, but may also be delivered to line-level foodservice employees.

How is ServSafe® Manager Delivered?

While most ServSafe® programs are delivered over two or three days, WV HEAT recognizes the difficulties inherent in having managers, supervisors, or line-level employees away from a business for multiple days. Therefore, we offer the course in one tightly packed day while maintaining a certification exam passing rate of 90%.

Time: 8 hours
Cost: $100 per person includes training, materials, and testing for face to face training.
Call for info regarding ServSafe® online certification. WV HEAT may be able to provide a pre-scheduled proctor for the online exam.

ServSafe® Food Handler

ServSafe® Manager is designed for specifically for front line level foodservice employees.

How is ServSafe® Food Handler Delivered?

ServSafe® Food Handler offers targeted food safety training in approximately two hours. The certificate is signed by the course trainer immediately after successful completion of the assessment.

Time: 1.5 - 2 hours
Cost: $25 per participant

Who Should be Certified in ServSafe® Alcohol?

ServSafe® Alcohol is designed to be highly practical and comprehensive for front of the house employees who need serve alcohol responsibly. Participants choose from two exams when registering for a course. The ServSafe Alcohol Primary Exam tests basics. The ServSafe Alcohol Advanced Proctored Exam tests for understanding in key concepts.

How is ServSafe® Alcohol Delivered?

ServSafe® Alcohol offers targeted food safety training in approximately five hours. The certificate is signed by the course trainer immediately after successful completion of the assessment.

Cost: $50 per person includes training, materials, and testing
