Use the Virtual School Online Readiness Tool to determine your aptitude for online learning and review selected resources for improving your skills.
Review the many courses in the online catalog. More than 250 core and elective courses are available, including 20 different AP courses.
Use your school email account (@stu.k12.wv.us).  If you don't know what it is, contact the TIS or the Virtual School contact at your school.
Complete a Course Request form with information about yourself and the course you've selected.
The Virtual School Contact at your school will review your request and, upon approval, forward the request to the Registrar.
the Virtual School Registrar will review your request and, upon approval, forward the request to the course provider.
The course provider will send you an email containing your user name and password, along with instructions for accessing your course.
