Regular Travel Reibursement Policy
- 1) The Department of Education will reimburse hotel fees if the attendee must travel a distance to attend the training. DO NOT use a travel website such as hotwire or travelocity when making reservations. Deal directly with the hotel.
- 2) The Department of Education travel policy will reimburse for certain meals and only if staying overnight.
- 3) The current mileage reibursement is 40.5 cents per mile.
- 4) Reimbursement for subs is made directly to the county.
- 5) All paperwork will be handled in the actual class.
- 6) It is normal to take 6-8 weeks for travel reimbursements to be processed.
