Timely Submission of ApplicationsThe anticipated date that an e-mail account will be first used should be considered when sending applications to the WVDE Office of Technology. If an account is requested too far in advance, passwords are lost or forgotten. Sometimes it is forgotten that the account was even created and a second application is submitted for the same person. Second applications (duplicates) result in increased work for the e-mail contacts and staff a the WVDE and WVNET. Checking a current list of accounts for your school or county can eliminate duplicate requests. E-mail contacts can retrieve an up-to-date list of e-mail accounts for their locations at http://access.k12.wv.us:1026. After logging in, select the option to "Create a list of all accounts at your school." There are three options for sorting the list. By clicking the button below the displayed list, you will automatically be e-mailed a copy of the sorted list. The list will be e-mailed in a "comma separated value" (csv) format that can be imported into a spreadsheet or database if you want to be able to sort the data. Lists of e-mail accounts are to be used for official purposes only and strictly limited in distribution. |
