Kit Based Science:
with Inquiring Modules and PBL
Experiences (SIMPLE) |
A partnership agreement between the West
Virginia Department of Education and the Delaware Science Coalition was
formed. This partnership provides access
for WV teachers to the two-point formative assessment rubrics created by the
Delaware Science Coalition for kit based science. The two point rubric consists of two digits
that enable teachers to pinpoint their students’ strengths and weaknesses
related to each criterion. The two point
rubric allows teachers to analyze each student’s level of comprehension and
guide instructional best practices of the teacher.
