College Readiness

The WV 21^st Century Content Standards and Objectives were reviewed by ACHIEVE, Inc. and a link to that alignment report is provided. We have also linked to another document which provides the WVDE Response to the ACHIEVE, Inc. report.

Representatives of Higher Education English and mathematics faculty, public school English and mathematics teachers, and WVDE staff collaboratively developed WV College Readiness Standards that are based on the ACT benchmarks for success in college coursework. Links to those documents and frameworks for their work are also provided.
