Response to Intervention Mathematics
Response to Intervention is the practice of providing high-quality instruction and intervention matched to student needs. It requires using learning rate over time and level of performance to make important instructional decisions. At the core of Response to Intervention is the belief that each student has the right to quality mathematics instruction. Each individual student should receive mathematics instruction that enables him/her to develop an understanding of grade level West Virginia Content Standards and Objectives.
