Words from the Common Core Authors

These video clips feature the lead writers of the English Language Arts Common Core State Standards explaining their work and providing examples of the depth to which these standards should be taught.  These Common Core Standards were placed within the West Virginia framwork by a large group of WV teachers working during the 2010-2011 school year.  Their final product can be seen in the Next Generation Content Standards and Objectives for English Language Arts in West Virginia Schools.
