Registering for the TASC Test

Choose an Official Adult Basic Education Center

Prior to registering to take the TASC, candidates testing in West Virginia must pass the TASC Readiness Assessment (TRA) at an Adult Education (AE) Center or at the Option Pathway school.

If you are withdrawn from a public high school visit the WVDE AE website to select a center near you. After passing the TRA and completing the WV TASC Form at your local AE Center, the AE Teacher will attach any waivers or court orders to your WV TASC form and submit the forms to the county TASC Test Coordinator or TASC Examiner.

The Adult Education or Option Pathway teacher will assit with the online registration.

DO NOT COMPLETE THE TASC ONLINE REGISTRATION PROCESS WITHOUT PASSING THE TRA OR WITHOUT THE ASSISTANCE OF AN ADULT EDUCATION OR OPTION PATHWAY TEACHER.

What do I have to bring to the Testing Center when I schedule my testing date?
