SQ3R Reading Strategy

SQ3R is a reading strategy that can be used in all content areas to help students comprehend text. It helps make reading purposeful and meaningful.  The process is an effective study tool that has students survey the text, question the material, read it, recall it, then review it.  SQ3R gives students the maximum benefit for their time spent reading a text.
