WVDE Early Warning System on WOW

 

 

This system will allow schools and districts to identify students as early
as 6th grade who possess the research based indicators that statistically
predict they are at high risk of dropping out of school.  The purpose of
this Early Warning System is help schools/districts to target the
appropriate students with appropriate interventions to increase graduation
rates and decrease dropout rates.  We encourage principals, counselors,
central office staff and other interested educators to join us at one of the
following locations to learn more:
