Subject: FW: 2ND NOTICE: Seeking Young Men of Color's Artwork for the
Upcoming School Counseling Journal Series

Good afternoon,

The College Board's National Office for School Counselor Advocacy (NOSCA) is
developing a school counselor four volume journal series that will focus on
building the capacity of school counselors to transform the educational
experiences of young men of color. We are seeking artwork created by young
men of color, with a preference for depictions of young men of color
(portraiture/people) and/or their personal life situations and
culture/environments. While artwork from all young men of color would be
helpful, we're specifically seeking work from Asian American, Latino,
American Indian, and African American male students.

Our minimum imagery requirements will be files (JPEG, TIFF) that are 300
dpi, at a size of 8.5" x 11" to give us the freedom to enlarge the images if
needed. See attached flyer with artwork guidelines and parental consent
form.

Please send all images via email as a compressed file to
<mailto:jdunn at collegeboard.org> jdunn at collegeboard.org and scan or fax the
completed parental consent form to 202-741-4743 by Thursday, September 6,
2012.

This publication will be FREE and available to school counselors, educators,
and advocates throughout the nation. See the first volume of the series
that was published in April called, Research and the Need for Change
<http://media.collegeboard.com/digitalServices/pdf/nosca/12b_5136_NOSCAJourn
al_120330.pdf> . If selected, students will be recognized for their
contributions, their first name, their last name initial and their grade
will be posted with their artwork (i.e. John D., 9th grade). If your
students artwork is chosen, you will be contacted via email by the 2nd week
of November.

Again, thank you and please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any
questions or concerns.

Thanks!
