GIFTED TEACHER PREPARATION IN WV

Gifted Education specialization shall be granted only to individuals
who hold a Professional Teaching Certificate

The Gifted Education endorsement shall be issued
for the 1-12 grade levels.
Gifted Education Teachers
who were previously certified as K-8 or 9-12
may convert their certificates to 1-12
by completing Form 42
to extend the grade levels of a current endorsement as permitted by WVBE Policy 5202.
