Keynote Speaker: Laurence J. Coleman, Ph. D. “Characteristics of Gifted-Friendly Schools” Dr. Coleman is the DASO Herb Professor of Gifted Studies at the University of Toledo (Ohio). He is the former editor of the Journal for the Education of the Gifted. He authored the book Being Gifted in School with Dr. Tracy Cross, and he wrote Nurturing Talent in High School: Life in the Fast Lane. Dr. Coleman’s research interests are in the experience of being gifted, teacher thinking, action research and practical inquiry, and theoretical analysis. |
