Early Childhood E-Learning Opportunities
Early childhood educators working in West Virginia Universal Pre-K and Kindergarten classrooms now have the opportunity to participate in e-Learning courses specifically designed for early childhood. Courses include Child Development, Early Childhood Special Needs Inclusion, Creating a Language Rich Environment, Early Childhood Curriculum, Early Childhood Assessment, and Family and Community Engagement.
Pre-K and Kindergarten teacher assistants/aides may begin registering for the Winter 2015 early childhood courses on Saturday, November 1, 2014. Lead teachers may begin registering on Monday, December 1, 2014.Online Registration

Application for Community Program Authorization (Form 50) – use this form when applying for the permanent, the initial, or to renew certification to teach in a partnership between a local school system and a community PK program. This credential is required when the teacher does not hold a valid WV Professional Teaching Certificate endorsed for PK.
