Mathematics Development

Approximately 1,500 items were written and reviewed for final form selection of WESTEST 2. The mathematics portion of WESTEST 2 includes 45 questions per grade level. Each test is comprised of 43 multiple-cholce items and 2 gridded response items. Each of these tests includes at least 2 graphic organizers to assist student thinking. Items were written using the specific Mathematics Item Writing Checklist.
