Application Submittal and Approval Process

The information below will provide you with an overview of the application process for the Office of Assessment and Acccountability. The research process has a total of six steps. These major steps are outlined in the graphic image below.

The first step of the process is to download and complete the application. You can download the application from this website or you can contact Larry White to request an application. Once application is received it will be reviewed by our group. The review process is depicted below:

As you can see the review process will look at each of the parts of the application you have completed. Make sure you pay particular attention to Section II of the application as it deals with the funding source for your research request. Once the Office or Research and Evaluation have approved your request the application will be forwarded to Division of Curriculum and Instructional Services for approval. Pending that approval an invoice will be created and work will begin on the research project.
