Posted: December 23, 1999
Persons searching for a job in West Virginia school systems have a new interactive tool to help them in their search.
Job seekers can now leave some basic information in the West Virginia Department of Education's Job Seeker Database and make it available to county school systems. Some of the information provided includes name, phone, e-mail, areas of certification and experience. Counties can now contact potential candidates and invite them to formally apply for one of their openings.
The Job Seeker Database is an extension of WV K-12 Job Bank. The WV K-12 Job Bank is a database of job openings accross the state.
