West Virginia Board Of Education Seeking Comments On Technical Education Policy
Posted: April 18, 2005
Charleston, W.Va. – The West Virginia Board of Education (WVBOE) has placed Policy 3232 - Establishment of Procedures and Operating Policies for Multi-County Career and Technical Education Centers on public comment. The action was taking during the WVBOE monthly meeting on April 14, 2005.
A number of procedural and statutory changes dictated the need to repeal and replace the current policy. The proposed replacement policy brings the policy in conformity with the current WVBOE policy format, makes necessary policy language updates, and reflects changes in State Code related to the duplication of multi-county center programs in new comprehensive high schools.
Policy 3232 will remain on public comment for 30 days. School administrators and parents are encouraged to review the document and make suggestions on improving the policy. You can find the policies by logging onto http://wvde.state.wv.us/policies/
