Entrepreneurial Academy Gets Down to Business

CHARLESTON, W.Va. - Career and Technical Education teachers will be gathering to attend an entrepreneurial professional development event in Charleston. The West Virginia Department of Education (WVDE) in conjunction with the University of Charleston will sponsor an Entrepreneurship Academy July 7-9 at the University of Charleston.
Participants in this first-time academy will gain first-hand knowledge from West Virginia entrepreneurs. They also will gain assistance in preparing lesson plans for effective Management and Entrepreneurship instruction as well as be provided with instructional materials.
The academy is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, July 7 with West Virginia college and university representatives that offer entrepreneurial studies. Throughout the academy, participants will have the opportunity to attend sessions and social events with local entrepreneurs and learn from their successes and challenges they face.
