West Virginia Board of Education Seeking Comment on Bus Policy

Charleston, W.Va. – The West Virginia Board of Education wants your opinion on the state school transportation policy. The Board placed Policy 4334: West Virginia Minimum Requirements for Design and Equipment of School Buses out for public comment during its recent June meeting.
The proposed revisions to Policy 4334 are necessary to reflect the latest design of school buses including improved emissions standards, wiring and emergency exits.
Policy 4334 will remain on public comment for 30 days. School administrators and parents are encouraged to review the document and make suggestions on improving the policy. You can find Policy 4334 by logging onto http://wvde.state.wv.us/policies/
