Module 3 to Focus on the Use of All Components of the New Curriculum Posted: June 02, 2004 CHARLESTON, W.Va. - Educators from across the state will have the opportunity to learn more about the state’s new curriculum. Professional development for Module 3, Unpacking the Content Standards, Objectives and Performance Descriptors, will be offered online and at specific training sites throughout the summer and next school year.
Registration for Module 3 Online is open. Educators may register at http://m3.k12.wv.us for one of the four one week sessions that will be available beginning July 5. Other dates for the online sessions are scheduled for the weeks of July 12, July 19, and July 26. Module 3 will also be offered on Wednesdays at the Center for Professional Development’s Summer Governor’s Institute. Deadline for this venue is June 1. Educators may also want to take advantage of the professional development event at schools located throughout the state at the beginning of the next school year. The Regional Education Service Agencies will offer Module 3 to fine arts teachers.
