State Board of Education to Meet in Nicholas County

The State Board will meet for a work session beginning at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 12, 2004 in Nicholas County, at Nicholas County High School Auditorium, 30 Grizzly Road, Summersville, West Virginia. Items for the work session are: Welcome and Introductions, Gus Penix, Superintendent of Nicholas County Schools; WESTEST Update; Policy 2422.7 - Standards for Basic and Specialized Health Care Procedures; Policy 2320 - A Process for Improving Education - Performance Based Accreditation System; Coordinated and Thematic Science (CATS) Curriculum; Strategic Planning Report; Legal and/or Personnel Matters; and future meetings.
