Posted: April 26, 2004
CHARLESTON, W.Va. - The Fulbright Teacher and Administrator Exchange program has two more programs to offer West Virginia educators.
Award-winning public school principals are invited to travel to Brazil for two weeks in August 2004. This opportunity will enable school administrators to learn more about the Brazilian educational system and to share best practices in school leadership and other topics. The application deadline is May 28, 2004.
Morocco is the second destination that is being offered. High school teachers of English as a Second Language (ESL), French or Arabic are invited to travel to Morocco for either a three or six week job shadowing exchange this fall. In spring 2005, U.S. teachers will host their Moroccan counterparts for six weeks. Applications are due by July 1, 2004.
