Statewide Technology Conference Slated for August 2-4

CHARLESTON, W.Va. - The West Virginia Department of Education’s Annual Statewide Technology Conference has been scheduled for August 2 – 4 at the Charleston Civic Center.
Participants from higher education, K-12, state agencies, the business community and non-profit sectors are invited to participate. The goal of the conference is to foster partnerships among the groups by exchanging the latest technology advances and uses and sharing individual expertise with a broader audience.

In addition to sharing and exchanging technology advancement information, the Partners-N-Technology Conference Committee invites interest groups to submit proposals for presentation. The Conference Committee has surveyed individuals from across the state to determine the area of technology they would like to discuss at the conference. Groups or individuals representing K-12, higher education, academic and public libraries, non-profit organizations and local, state and government agencies are invited to apply.
