Charleston, W.Va. – The West Virginia Board of Education will hit the road in an effort to share ideas with parents, teachers and school staff. The Board is scheduled to hold its monthly meeting in Hancock County, West Virginia on May 14th and 15th.
“We are always interested in getting an up-close look at what schools are doing across the state,” said State Board Vice-President Sandra Chapman. “This is a great opportunity to get out of the boardroom and come in contact with the educational community.”
Oak Glen Middle School and Oak Glen High School will be showcased during the two-day meeting. Students will perform theatrical and choral presentations as part of the meeting.
The monthly meeting will take place at the John D. Rockefeller IV Career Center, RD 2, Box 138A, New Cumberland, West Virginia. Wednesday’s session begins at 1 p.m. and Thursday’s session begins at 8:30 a.m.
