Charleston, W.Va. – DreamQuest is underway and time is running out to sign up at wvdreamquest.com. West Virginia students have an opportunity to try their hand at starting their own business. Dreamquest is a student entrepreneurial contest that is sponsored by the West Virginia Department of Education, University of Charleston's Entrepreneurship Center and other agencies. It is designed to expand students' awareness and build business skills while they are exploring their career options.
On Wednesday, January 15 at 9:00am the Department of Education will broadcast a special TV show on PBS for all interested students. You will learn all about Dreamquest and how you can win $5000, $2500, $1250, or $400.
Contact the principal, or career counselor in your school to find out where you can view the program. Most high school media centers have access to PBS 2.
