State Board Member Takes Seat on School Building Authority

CHARLESTON, W.Va. - West Virginia Board of Education member Barbara Fish was sworn in as a member of the West Virginia School Building Authority (SBA) during its December meeting. Fish, a resident of Parkersburg, has been a member of the West Virginia Board of Education since December 2000. She will serve on the SBA until her term on the Board of Education expires in 2009.
The SBA is authorized to efficiently and economically use and provide state funds for the construction and maintenance of public school facilities throughout West Virginia.
