State Board of Education to Meet in Gilmer County

The State Board will meet for a work session beginning at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 13, 2002 at Gilmer County High School, Glenville, West Virginia. Agenda items for the work session are: Oath of Office for Delores W. Cook, Legal/Personnel Matters, Reports on Uniform Grading Policy, AYP and Accountability, Policy 3233, Legislative Initiatives. Also on the agenda Developing a Policy on Outside Programs in West Virginia Schools, Testing Issues in Primary Grades, Implementation of Student/Employee Codes of Conduct, and future meetings.
The State Board will meet in regular session beginning at 8:30 a.m., on Thursday, November 14, 2002 at the same location. President Howard M. Persinger, Jr., will preside.
