14 Educators to Participate in WV-FLES Training

Fourteen West Virginia educators will participate in the first WV-FLES (Foreign Language in the Elementary Schools) Cadre training at the Charleston Marriott on August 2-3.

Formation of the WV-FLES Cadre has been made possible through a Foreign Language Assistance Program grant from the United States Department of Education. Members of the FLES Cadre will provide each RESA area with a contact person who will serve as an advocate and resource to schools and school systems that want to implement early foreign language programs.

Dr. Carol Ann Pesola Dahlberg, nationally-known FLES author and educator, will serve as presenter and consultant to the new cadre.
