Vocational Leadership, Skills Competition Scheduled for Friday, Saturday Posted: April 04, 2001
Three hundred seventy-five students from over 30 West Virginia career and technical schools will meet in Charleston Friday, April 6, through Saturday, April 7, for the state vocational leadership and skills competition.
The program will be hosted by Ben Franklin Career Center in Kanawha County.
Students will be competing in a variety of competitions, including advertising design, industrial maintenance technology, masonry and precision machining in the conference entitled, "WV SkillsUSA-VICA."
Students winning at the state level will travel to Kansas City, Missouri, in June to compete in the national competition.
