Grants for Homeless Children and Youth Available

Application packets for the Education for Homeless Children and Youth grant are now available from the West Virginia Department of Education.  

Grants ranging from $5,000 to $20,000 are available for public school districts to ensure that homeless children and youth receive quality educational programming. Partnerships with homeless shelters and other social service organizations are encouraged. The deadline for applications is June 1, 2001.
