Certification Website Offered to Educators

Educators certified to work in West Virginia's public schools may now check their certification status online at http://wvde.state.wv.us/certification/status/.

The website is being provided so that each educator can check the status of his or her certification applications, review current licenses held and verify expiration dates of certificates. The service will also be helpful to local school systems who want to verify the certification status of job applicants.

The website is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to provide immediate, on-demand information about an educator's certification status.
