"Linking Leaders" Conference Sponsored to Improve Math, Science, Technology Education

The "Linking Leaders for Systemic Improvement in West Virginia" conference will be held at the Charleston Marriott from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 25. The program is being sponsored to improve math, science and technology education in West Virginia.
Forty leaders from across West Virginia will be in attendance, including representatives from business and industry, education and government agencies. NASA representatives will also be in attendance.
This conference is part of a three-year program co-sponsored by the National Alliance of State Science and Mathematics Coalitions (NASSMC) and NASA.
The program is designed to provide opportunities for state-level leadership groups to collaborate with NASA to align NASA resources with the state?s mathematics, science and technology education reform agenda.
