School System Leadership Team Members will gather at the Charleston Civic Center on December 3-5, 2007 to explore 21st Century Skills. The theme of the conference is "21st Century Skills - Through the Eyes of the Learner." The conference will guide educational leaders as they move toward a school system that develops the 21st century skill sets students will need for successful living and working in the globally interdependent world.
Numerous outstanding national and state speakers will be featured at general sessions and clinics. WVDE special feature sessions will provide information on several department initiatives. As in previous conferences, "county team meetings" will be arranged for team conversation, reflection, assessment and planning.
School System Improvement Team Members should register online to confirm their attendance. RESA representatives, Department of Education staff, OEPA staff and higher education participants should also complete on-line registration.
