Charleston, W.Va. - The West Virginia Board of Education is taking its monthly meeting on the road in an effort to share ideas with parents, teachers and school staff. The Board is scheduled to meet April 11 and 12 in Preston County.
“Visiting different counties provides us with an important avenue to get an up-close look at what schools are doing across the state,” said state Board President Lowell Johnson. “This is a great opportunity to get out of the boardroom and come in contact with the educational community.”
The monthly meeting will take place at the Preston County Schools boardroom, 200 Preston Drive, Kingwood. Wednesday’s session begins at 1 p.m. and Thursday’s session begins at 9 a.m.
