March State Board Meeting Canceled Posted: March 09, 1999
The March 11th meeting of the West Virginia Board of Education has been canceled, State Board President Jim MacCallum announced today.
The meeting was scheduled for Thursday in Charleston. "Because of illness and other unexpected commitments of the board members, we are forced to cancel the March meeting," said MacCallum.
The next regularly scheduled meeting of the State Board is Thursday, April 15, in Brooke County.
"We will carry over all March agenda items until April," said MacCallum, "unless immediate action is required on particular issue. In that case, we will try to schedule a special meeting or a telephone conference.”
