2006 School System Leadership Team Spring Conference

THEME: “Celebrating West Virginia’s 21st Century Classrooms: Integrating 21st Century Content, Skills and Tools”
Over 500 School System Leadership Team Members will gather at the Charleston Civic Center on April 3-5 to explore practices of high performing school systems. This conference, the seventh for Leadership Teams, will focus on the six components of 21st Century Classrooms. The first evening of the conference, Dr. Steve Paine, State Superintendent of Schools, will present the Department of Education’s vision for the 21st Century Classroom with the distribution of the new 21st Century Frameworks. School districts have been encouraged to select at least one teacher from elementary, middle, and high school to attend this important conference.
School System Improvement Team Members should register on line to confirm their attendance. RESA representatives, Department of Education staff, OEPA staff and higher education participants should also complete on-line registration. CONFERENCE CHECK-IN: Pre-registered participants may pick up materials at the registration desk one hour prior to the opening general session.
GRADUATE CREDIT: Credit will be available through Marshall University. Information will be provided at the registration desk.
