Important Notice

A Call for Social Studies Instructional Materials Grades K-12

has been issued February 13, 2012.

Additionally, an off-cycle call has been issued for

newly developed Mathematics Instructional Materials Grades K-8.

Relevant details concerning the call can be found on the Call to Bid page of the Instructional Materials website.

All interested individuals and publishing companies are welcome to submit resources for review.

Policy 2445.41: Instructional Resources Adoption:  Notice, Request, and Instructions to Publishers

has been approved by the WV State Board of Education and filed with the Secretary of State, effective date March 12, 2012 .

Policy 2445.41 with major revisions highlighted

This action will also result in the repeal of Policies 2445.4, 2445.412, and 2445.43, all of which have been incorporated into Policy 2445.41.
