Policy 2445.40: Groupings for Adoption of Instructional Resources

The primary revision to the policy that went into effect on February 11, 2013, switched the adoption years of English Language Arts and Science.  The West Virginia Department of Education plans to issue a call for Enlish langage arts resources in 2014  and the call for science resources will be in 2015.  Additionally, the revision incorporated the language from Policy 2445.44: Rules fro Granting Exemptions to the Legal Requirements for the Adoption and Utilization of Textbook. This action resulted in the repeal of Policy 2445.44.

The State Board of Education approved this policy revision on January 9, 2013.
